About
The original passion was nature. But, still in my teens, I started observe it through the lens of a camera. When professional life became the conservation of the environment, the ingredients were combined so that I could venture into the career of a nature photographer.
I am from Curitiba (PR), but I have lived and worked literally from North to South of my country. Combining photography with conservation projects, I had the opportunity to register the most remote corners of Brazil and several other countries. Throughout my professional career, among other things, I lived for a year and a half in the middle of Mamirauá Sustainable Development Reserve, worked in partnership with indigenous peoples in the Amazon, worked for strengthening tourism and photographic registration of Brazil Parks and was member of a sailboat expedition to Antarctica..
My relationship with photography is guided by my ideal of trying to approach and improve the relationship between society and nature. For this reason, I always try to take extreme technical and aesthetic care, in the quest to register images with the capacity to instill curiosity and stimulate people's aesthetic sense.
Today, based in Manaus (Amazon), I work in the production of a diversified image bank, but with a main focus on nature and its relations with society. I have images published in several books, magazines, calendars, travel guides, diaries, among others. I also produce a specific collection of Fine Art images for galleries and stores, in addition to organizing photographic expeditions, courses and outdoor photography workshops.
